Select 2 to play against the computer or more if you want others to join in, then click Start. Then use these new cities to build more settlers. So the first thing to do is to build as many settlers as you can to found new cities. More land means more population, more resources and more trade. In order to solve problems with incompatibilities, as well as balance in network games, I released several mods for Freeciv, which visually completely transfer us to Civ2.
